The Gurucharri Foundation’s goal is to help relieve some of the financial stress that can occur during cancer treatment, allowing the patient to focus on their health and concentrate on getting well.

Examples of Financial Assistance Provided
- Utilities
- Rent or mortgage payments
- Medical & medication expenses
- Dental Care
- Transportation
- Car Expenses
- Child Care
- Other needs indicated by the social worker/financial team
How Does a Person Receive Assistance:
The patient must meet with a social worker or financial representative at the medical facility where they are receiving cancer treatment. During this meeting, the patient’s needs will be assessed to determine eligibility for assistance.
- Checks are only issued directly to businesses or companies.
- Each eligible patient can receive up to $850/year.
What are the Eligibility Requirements:
- Person must be a resident of Missouri
- Person must be receiving treatment for cancer at the time of referral
- Treatment must be received through one of the Foundation’s approved institutions
